Cristian was born into a family of artists where he developed the skills he needed to become the great Spanish Producer-Dj he is today. His father was a drama theater 1st actor (Dramatic National Theatre); his mother and grandmother, ballet teachers (Lycee Français De Madrid); his grandfather,a radio station director (Radio Madrid), etc. Living in such a creative environment, he was inspired to learn how to play piano when he was only nine years old.
Two years later, in 1986, he wrote his first classical compositions which impressed important theater directors. Some of the works were finally included in theater plays as "El Retablo de la Avaricia","La Lujuria","La Muerte de Valle Inclán" in the popular theater company Calderón de la Barca. This started Cristian Varela´s fruitful career as both Composer and Pianist.
It is in 1990 when Cristian started listening to Kraftwerk, Moroder, Front 242, Split Second, Nitzerebb, Depeche Mode, Vangelis and much more. Feeling a strong attraction to these groups and artists, he began to create his first electronic productions.
In 1991 he wrote his first electronic piece called "Intruders" which was composed for the Classical Dance Festival(LFM). Resulting in a big success, Cristian continued composing pieces for the future festivals.
1992 marked his first club residency as a DJ in a Villalba club called Porche Club where he introduced sounds such as E.B.M. and Elektro which were not really well known in those days in Spain. He also won the Radio Vinilo- "Carlos Eisman"- best DJ prize all over Madrid. Months later he began his residency in Attica, a very popular and first underground music club in Madrid where he played Ambient, Elektro, House, Techno and E.B.M. Cristian sessions were considered outstanding overall and he soon became one of the underground culture pioneers in Spain.
In 1994 Cristian launched his first maxi "El Cigarrito" with an independent company (DID.S.A.) and remixed a dance track for a Heineken spot. Later the same year, he became both resident and director together with his brother and current manager Luis Varela at the full glamoured afterhours Zarabanda. At the same time, Cristian created the legendary Epsilon sessions in Aire club-Madrid. Two months later he won "Spain Attica Awards 1994" for the best Spanish Techno DJ. As his fame as a DJ strengthened, he began travelling throughout Spain and to foreign countries such as Belgium and France.
Also in 1994, together with his brother, he set up Phrenetic Society, a pioneer company in massive music festivals, music shops, imported clothing, DJ´s school and national/ international artist´s agency. With this, they promoted new artists and styles such as Techno andHard Techno which nowadays are still under appreciated in our country.
In 1995 Cristian was contracted by Sony Music Entertainment Spain through which his fame flourished in discography ("Two Spirits in one" 1995, "I.L.T.E.C.S" 1996, etc.). At this time he started making compilations with big artists like Jean Michelle Jarre, Culture Beat, Appolo 13 and more.
Then in 1996 Cristian remixed music from Chris Liberator, one of the biggest deejays of the british Techno scene at that moment, creating the track "Madrid Acid RMX"- Stay Up Forever Rec. With this, Cristian was on the charts and on the biggest radio stations in London.
Some months later, Cristian received an offer with one of the most important Techno labels: Primate Recordings-UK. Following this, Cristian was propositioned by important labels such as Planet Vision from Germany, Primevil from UK, Elephanthaus from USA, Equator from Germany, Session in Belgium, etc. and remixed tracks from Speedy J, Ben Sims, Gayle San, Pascal F.E.O.S, Tim Baker, Marco Bailey...
There is no doubt that in addition to being considered an international Deejay and Productor, Cristian Varela serves as an open door making the Spanish scene well known all over the world. Cristian then began touring Brazil, Tokyo, USA, Colombia, Canada and beyond as an incredibly respected Deejay in the best worlwide night clubs and fstivals.
In 1998 Cristian developed his own live act together with his three inseparable percussionists. Not once did they let down the awaiting crowd in festivals such as "I love Techno" in Belgium, "Awakenings" in Holland, "Nature one" and "Liberty one" in Germany; playing in unison with some of the best like Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke or Green Velvet. Today Cristian´s name can be seen throughout the media in sources such as MTV, VIVA, Tele5, Antena3, Telemadrid, TVE, Groove Mag, Mixmag, Deejay, El Mundo, El País, La Voz de Galicia, La Nueva Espana, Future Music, etc.
In 2000, together with his good friend and artist, Marco Bailey, Cristian created the popular record label "Pornographic Recordings" which stands among the best Techno labels worlwide. The label also provides opportunities to new talents all over the world.
It is also in year 2000 when Cristian wrote the music for the popular Pasarela Cibeles , fashion catwalk in Madrid and was so successful that he was put in charge of providing music for the future ones to come. He also composed his first album "New Electronic Audio/ Architectures" where Cristian´s maturity is appreciated in creating different styles of music.
Once more, Cristian won "Best Techno DJ Prize" in Bachatta Club Awards, also "Best Techno Producer" in Deejaymags Spain Awards 2000 and also received "Best Techno DJ Prize" in DJ Onners Spain Awards 2000. He was ranked seventh among the first hundred worlwide producers by "Satellite", the famous American distributor thanks to his maxi called "Groovie Wavedrums E.P" in Primate Recordings UK. Both his brother and manager received the best national DJ´s agency prize.
In 2001 Cristian was motivated by his own album and created a new music label called "Donkeyhead Recordings" where he played different styles such as EleKtro, Ambient, House, and of sometimes Techno, where he utilized the pseudonym of Carlos Duran. With this name we found Cristian playing the most smart sessions in places like Chicago, New York, Madrid, and many more.
Also in year 2001, Cristian won five more prizes, three of them are awarded by DJ Onners Spain Awards 2001 to the best mixed CD -together with Tony Verdi, also to the best electronic music album and to the best recordings label "Pornographic Recordings". The other two prizes are given by "Deejaymags Spain Awards 2001" to the best Techno DJ and also best DJ of the year!
In 2002 Cristian created the unique Thursday Techno sessions in Madrid: EMOTION TECH CLUB, where the most prestigious deejays all over the world play. Emotion represents the best Spanish choice for Thursday night.More than eighteen years as
Composer and Pianist and more than twelve years as Producer and Deejay have proved why Cristian Varela is today considered one of the most important figures within the electronic music world and the biggest and greatest representative inside and outside our borders.
Cristian was appointed Official DJ of Final Scratch (Stanton) in Spain and is taking part in the soundtrack in a new Columbia Pictures film (The Mix) about the lives of DJs, together with his friend John Acquaviva. |

Born in Chelsea, the son of a Jazz musician, Dave Angel's first musical instrument (appropriately) was a drum at the noisy age of eight.
Not one for conforming, even at the early age, Angel spent little time in school, preferring truancy to chemistry and the music room to the classroom.
1988 and the explosion of acid house in London and the rest of the country seemed to be the major break for Angel, who at the time was pioneering this unbelievable new sound on radio "Phaze One".
A well known pirate radio station in the capital. The technological explosion which was to rock pre conceived musical conceptions established the young DJ who found himself proclaimed as "One of the major techno talents in Britain".
(Echoes March 1992) DJing formed a natural progression into the recording process and two weeks recording at home with two basic turntables and two tape decks and a child Casio keyboard (yes a child's!)
in 1989 bore the fruits of his first musical excursion ~ a remix of The Eurhythmics "Sweet Dreams" ~ somewhat controversial but eminently successful. Angel's reworking of the track created such a massive buzz in the clubs that RCA were forced to officially release the track and incredibly it charted and climbed to No. 23 in the UK National Charts first time round. |

Former Travel Agent from South London, began djing back in the mid 80’s.
What started as a hobby playing at a small club called Zigis, inevitably became a much loved career for Trevor, when due to his superb mixing ability and love of music, he was rewarded with a residency at ‘Troll’ club in London.
When Carl Cox started up his Ultimate DJ agency, Trevor was the first to be signed up, from this point on there was no looking back.
With a passion to entertain and educate, Trevor went on to gain djing spots at two of the best Techno nights in London: ‘Garage’ and ‘Trade’, both of which have Trevor to thank, in part, for their success.
His djing ability has taken him all over England and across Ireland, to djing around the world in places such as Australia, New Zealand Portugal and Prague, in popular clubs such as the Rex(Paris), Dorrien Gray/Tresor(Germany), Industry(Canada), Twilo(New York), Fuse(Belgium), including the well known raves, Dance Valley(Holland), Dance Planet, Tribal Gathering, Homelands, Love Parade in Berlin and Leeds ... 1998 saw Trevor become resident at the ever-popular Ultimate Base club in London, along with Carl Cox and Jim Masters.
Following a short lull in production, after his acclaimed ‘Visions of You’, Update’s ‘ Techno Tune of the week’ on Ultimatum trax, Trevor has returned with an inexorable drive. He has recently produced phenomenal E.P’s for the likes of Bush:
Wax ‘Single of the Month’ (‘Let’s Get Together’), Primary Records, Primevil, Dark House Music (‘Move That Body’), Christian Smith’s Strive and Carl Cox’s In-Tec label, with one of the most sought after tracks for the Y2k ‘Definition of Love’. |

There are few Djz and producers in the modern techno world who can truly claim to have pioneered a style and sound, and call it their own.
Such statements are often declared, but rarely justified. In the case of Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire , the names behind the revered Space DJz this claim would be unarguable. Ever since the pair's formation in the early 1900's their unerring ability to fuse raucous techno with their life long love of Hip Hop , has set them aside from there peers.
In the present day , an abundance of UK techno producer's have emerged, none would deny The Space Djz are true innovators.
During 2001 Ben and Jamie also able to concentrate on their solo projects working with labels such as Consumer Recreation, CLR, Primate, PrimeEvil, Tortured, Advanced, Eukatech, Speilzeug, and the running of their own labelz Potential Recordingz, Ergonomix, ReRub , 50hz, Ground, Foundation and Target. Jamie also released a Bandulu album Redemption with Music Man.
2002 saw the welcome return of The Space Djz on Blly Nasty's Tortured imprint with the Faces of Pain double pack , their first release together in almost two years, and a double mix Cd was released on Primal Rythms entitled The Last Djz on Earth.
They were back and they were better then ever. During this time , and indeed long before, The Space Djz have been renowned the world over for their breathtaking skillz behind the deckz. Whether working as a team or individually , Ben and Jamie consistently deliver astounding performances – Dj' ing to them is an art, and with over ten yearz on the world Dj circuit they have the knowledge and experience to rock any party right .. |

Paul Mac began DJ-ing 14 years ago at the age of 16, starting up as a hip-hop DJ. As with so many other DJs at the time, the pull of house and techno became too strong and he began to use his carefully honed mixing skills in another direction.
Paul's earliest experiments in the studio go back to around 1995. After about a year of working, he released his first EP on Josh Brent's "Not Guilty" label which went on to receive support from heavyweight DJs such as Derrick May and Colin Faver. Encouraged by this, Paul then sent out demos which resulted in a series of releases on James Ruskin and Richard Polsen's "Blueprint" sister label "Fracture" and a long standing set-up with "Fragmented Records" which to date has seen 6 singles and an album.
It was also at this time that Paul set up his own label "Stimulus Recordings" which led to other collaborations with artists such as Ben Sims, James Ruskin, Ben Long, Mark Broom, 65D Mavericks, Hardcell, Oscar Mulero and Takaaki Itoh amongst others. It also started Paul's international DJ bookings, leading him to play at various internationally known venues such as "La Real", "Sensor", "Family", "Cocoon", "Bugged Out" and "Metropolis".
Since then, Paul has started the "C-Side" label, which is dedicated exclusively to his own DJ-friendly style trax and has recorded for a host of other highly respected labels including "Primary", "Mosaic", "Surface", "Ongaku", "Phont", "Primevil" and many more. Appearing at various gigs at some of the world’s top techno venues when his busy recording schedule will allow, Paul’s DJ sets have been going down a storm all across the globe.
The last few years has seen Paul integrate a third turntable into his already unique hip hop influenced style for a slightly more creative approach, he has also completed a very successful tour of Spain with Ben Sims, following a split release from the pair, only released in Spain.
Last year saw the release of his critically acclaimed “Push came to shove” album on the ever-popular Primate label, this was preceded by a 12” release (“Back and forth”). His current offering on the label (“More over Remix”) comes with remixes from Marco Bailey and Mark Williams. Watch out for a forthcoming artist album on "Ingoma", new releases on "C-Side", "Immigrant" and "Influenced", as well as remixes on "Humanoid", "Stark", "Immigrant", "2999" and "Native Diffusion".

DJ Lucca began performing as a DJ in 1999, but the dance scene has interested her since she was 16, when she visited London.
She began her career working for a promotions agency in the Boby Center, Brno, where the first Czech dance parties with Paul van Dyk and Nick Warren took place in the mid 1990s.
In 2002, Lucca started building her own studio and one year later she released her successful debut Mirage 01 on Aquatrax.
Harder tracks, Moon and Fastlife followed soon after for the German label, Definition. Mirage 01 became a massive hit by the end of 2003 and in January 2004 Umek did an excellent remix.
The remix was among Carl Cox‘s favourite tracks, who opened with it in several of his sets during spring 2004. Another track, Day 3, common work of Lucca and Davide Squillace became Paul van Dyk´s favourite.
The Czech Mersey agency took her under their wing in the year 2000; they booked her to play at their legendary parties such as Supersonic Garage and the Metronome and Hradhouse festivals. Her visit to the Red Bull Music Academy in Dublin, 2000, and numerous opportunities to play, boosted her career and she soon became known as one of the Czech Republic’s most successful DJs. In 2002, she was acclaimed „Newcomer of the Year“ by the Czech magazíne Bassline and one year later, in 2003, she became the most popular DJ in the Czech Republic according to the Czech Dance Music Awards, which is regularly presented by the prestigous Czech magazine, XMAG.
The same year, German magazine Groove, placed her 9th in the category of „Newcomer of the Year“.
She is influenced by the melodic groovy techno of Italian producers. She cooperates with Davide Squillace in the studio, is interested in the productions of Danilo Vigorito, Markantonio, Rino Cerrone, Gaetano Parisio, Marco Carola, and among her favourites also belong Slovenian‘s Valentino Kanzyani and Umek, Canadian DJ Preach and Brazilian Renato Cohen.
In September 2004, Lucca established her own label, Acapulco, where her subtly psychedelic track, Freedom, was released as a debut with Mirage 01 on the B-side.
From 2003, Lucca became part of Chris Liebing´s CLR booking for Germany and BENELUX.
In Summer 2005 she was chosen by Carl Cox on his stage on huge festival Dance Valley, a couple of months later she got invitation from Tiesto to accompany him on his eastern european tour.In the end of 2005 Lucca releases her first DVD on her label Acapulco. |

DJ Zinc is probably best known for the virtually undisputed 1995 anthem
"Super Sharp Shooter," a fierce, energetic hip-hop/jungle fusion that by year's end had become the very definition of a rinsed-out track.
Zinc's career as a DJ and producer, however, stretch quite a ways further back, sketching the steady evolution of hardcore from its house and rave roots through ragga and hip-hop-styled hardstep and beyond.
He's worked with a broad range of labels, both respected and virtually unknown (including Back 2 Basics, Congo Natty, Droppin' Science, 2000AD,
Brain, and, of course, Ganja), done time on the pirate radio circuit, and DJed as a resident at some of London's most popular underground clubs.
Zinc's first production work came in the form of the eight-volume series Swift and Zinc, released on Dream Team/Joker Records' Bizzy B's Brain imprint in the early '90s. The collaboration came to an end in 1994 when DJ Swift decided to focus on garage and house (the two still share studio space).
Remarkably, "Super Sharp Shooter" became Zinc's solo debut, and he's since released a number of popular tracks, although none have scaled the heights of his first.
He currently records with DJ Hype, Pascal, and Rude Bwoy Monty as part of the Ganja Kru (for MCA sublabel Parousia), as well as for Hype's True Playaz label (as DJ Zinc and Dope Skillz). |

Sounding from England and at just 22 years of age, Spor has quickly risen to the forefront edge of Drum & Bass production.
After being introduced to Drum & Bass through a friend around four years ago, Jon began experimenting with software to create his own music. His friend Codex took interest and before long they were producing as 'Final Reckoning', skipping off school to work on tracks, with early influence coming from artists such as Hive, Ram Trilogy and Bad Company.
This alias saw a lot of early progress and development take place, and soon differencing Universities meant that distance & time was an issue and Final Reckoning found it to hard to collaborate.
Jon took on his solo moniker 'Spor', a tag name derived from a combination of one of the first folders of samples he obtained, entitled 'Spore Tactics', and a favourite piece of artwork by a friend (see www.monaux.com).
Graffiti outlining eventually meant he would drop the 'e' to leave a more balanced arrangement.
Spor saw a debut release on the 'Damaged Minds' imprint, after friend and early mentor Murphy introduced him to Damage. This was a huge incentive to pursue harder, and soon Spor had attracted further attention.
After being headhunted by Chris Renegade, he landing himself an exclusive deal with one of Drum & Bass' most prestigious labels Renegade Hardware, and leading-edge label Barcode.
This opened up DJ opportunities, and after playing his first ever set at London's 'The End Club’, Spor has continued to play across the globe.
2005 saw Spor's remix of Konflict's 'Messiah' and his debut EP for Renegade Hardware.
2006 has seen Spor depart from the TOV Music Group to form part of the newly emerging and exciting Lifted Music collective, as well as tracks on Subtitles, a project for Evol Intent Recordings and Planet Mu. |

The Rogue Element is 25-year old producer Ben Medcalf.
His fascination with music began with piano lessons at the age of seven, moving through various different instruments until his early teens, when he settled down behind the drum kit and started his first band.
This band proved to be the embryonic stages of more than just Ben's career: playing guitars was the future electro-house producer and DJ King Roc, and on bass guitar was Jarman, now a successful drum and bass DJ and producer signed to Renegade Hardware.
The Rogue Element, aka award winning producer and DJ Ben Medcalf, was born in Portsmouth in 1979. Displaying an interest and aptitude for music from an early age, he played various instruments through his teens until becoming the drummer in Blindside, a rap/metal outfit playing the Portsmouth band circuit. Also in the group were Martin Dawson aka King Roc, the acclaimed electro DJ and producer, and Chris Jarman, aka Raiden, former protege of Renegade Hardware. All three were part of a wider social circle that also included Tom Neville and hard dance superstar Nick Sentience, brought together by a mutual love for the music of acts as varied as Underworld, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Deftones, RATM, and the Wu Tang Clan.
After moving to London in 2000 Ben began to learn the trade of the sound engineer, experimenting first with his own compositions and then in collaborations with Tom Real, who at the time was also new to the capital and effectively introduced Ben to the sounds of breaks and techno . After only a couple of years a number of tracks were signed to the alternative house offshoot Beautiful Records and the Rogue Element project was born.
Since signing a two-album deal with the reputable and eclectic Exceptional Records in 2004, The Rogue Element has taken the breakbeat world by storm. A string of singles received instant support from the Plump DJs, Freestylers, Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, The Crystal Method, Hyper and Rennie Pilgrem and culminated in Ben being awarded the 'Best Breakthrough Producer' award at the prestigious Breakspoll International Breakbeat Awards at Fabric.
In addition to this the acclaimed debut album 'Rogue Rock' was released in September 2005, which received a nomination for 'Best Album'.
2006 has seen The Rogue Element continue in a prolific manner with remixes of some of the biggest names in breakbeat (Stanton Warriors, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, the Crystal Method) and drum and bass (Noisia). DJ tours have taken him all over Central and Eastern Europe, to the Far East, and to Australia and New Zealand.
Continued collaborations with Tom Real, available on Functional, have been similarly lauded and have succeeded in crossing over to the electro scene (He's So Hot Right Now). A second studio album is currently in its early stages and is expected to be released in around September 2007.
In addition to producing, remixing, and engineering, Ben writes the scores for TV and film. |

Mihai Popoviciu is considered as being one of the best electro producers from Romania and Eastern Europe.
Born in 1981, Mihai found himself attracted to the rave scene of the mid 90s and at the age of 15 he discovered house music and detroit techno through Berlin House, a TV show from the german music channel Viva TV.
His passion for the electronic sound grew very fast and after 4 years of being obsessed with techno, by the time he was 19, he started producing his own music. Meanwhile, he met The Model, Masstyk and a few other guys who were also producing electronic music, so they decided to start a record label of their own (Elektro.casnice), but the lack of money and experience postponed this for several years.
The best word to describe Mihai’s musical work is "eclectic".
His productions vary from melodious and melancholic electropop tunes to electro house, from italo to ebm, or from disco to punk. He joined the Gigolo family in the summer of 2004 when he sent a demo to Hell, who decided he should be on International Deejay Gigolos Compilation 8 with the track "Sexy Spenders". A few months later, his first 12, "Tales From The Moon EP" was released on the same record label - Gigolo. The EP got good reviews from top djs like Laurent Garnier, Mick Wills or DJ Chloe. Being a very productive musician, Mihai can also be found on various romanian CD compilations or on netlabels like Arhiva7, FOEM, Sweet Smelling Surfaces, Wazzotic, Timbrico or Exposed Audio.
In 2007, the mighty romanian returns with new vinyl releases on record labels like: Pale Music Berlin, Size Doesn’t Matter, Vokuhila and Level Non Zero.
As a dj, Mihai Popoviciu is appreciated for his ability to genuinely combine various electronic music styles like electro, techno, italo, ebm or acid.

Horace took the first contact with the electronic music in Germania in 1990 as he had the opportunity to listen trax and nonstopmixes at the regional or national radio and tv stations.
A little beat later, he was charmed by the tv shows produced by Simone on MTV Europe where the video-versions of the trax produced by Prodigy, SL 2 or Dr. Drevious have brought him for ever in the electronic music side.
In 1993 he grounded together with 2 friends a electronic music band (4 Me Double), also then he started his activity as nonprofessional dj at private parties. The summer 1995 was his debut at radio as he produced the first electronic music show in Transilvania and the second in Romania.
In december 1995 he organized the first electronic music party in Transilvania, called Rave Time.
Since then until now, there are over 11 years of playing in clubs and at festivals in almost every major city in Romania. Related to Horace Dan D and to the CRS organization is bound the success of some festivals and national or regional events like Delahoya, Transilvanian Summit or DJs Gathering, where he brought his contribution as dj and promoter.
The difference between him and other romanian djs from his generation, are the plenty bookings that he had and still has in clubs and events outside Romania. Horace was the first Romanian dj that had a tour outside Romania: june 2003 in Germany and august 2003 in Poland.
Since then, hes invited often to play in clubs or at events in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Serbia, etc.
From the events where he have already played as dj guest, the most important are the Street Parade 2004 (Zurich 1 milion people), Mayday Budapest 2005 (12.000 people) and Street Parade 2006 (Zurich 700.000 people), events where he was appreciated by the crowd and by notorious djs that played at the same stage.
Poland is for Horace the second contry where he is playing a lot and where he gathered succes. Until now, he played at 13 events, at 8 of them being one of the main guests.
Regarding the visibility in radio and tv outside Romania, Horace Dan D. played at the radio-show Pitch Control prodused by Chris Liebing and Pauli Steinbach (HR3-XXL), was invited at Radio RMI Poznan (Poland), played by Masik Radio (Hungary), etc.
He had also produced some trax, one of them were released at the romanian labels like Roton Music or Skills Records, other are waiting to be released in Romania and in other countries.
Horace Dan D. is playing only on turn-tables (even 3), performance that is being improved with a Cycloops and a Air FX. He loves the music that has rhythm, that makes you move, his performance is one very dynamic. The music-stiles he loves now to play are: techno (almost every type of techno) and electro, some-times spiced with a little beat of acid. |

One of the most prominent figures of romanian drum'n'bass,
Dj Snow started playing records in 1998 due to his love of music although the dnb scene in his country was inexistent at that time.
Thanks to his perseverence, in `99 and `00 he gained residencies in the most important clubs in his home town, Cluj Napoca.
In the following years he played at the most important romanian festivals (as a Main guest) and parties across the whole country and abroad.
In 2003 he set up Zoom Out, an organization dedicated to the promotion of broken beats
Snow is one the most respected and loved djs in Romania, due to his excellent mixing skills and his powerful, vivid, and classy style.
In the recent years he played alongside names like Sub Focus, Ink, Commix, Dylan, Black Sun Empire, Loxy, Storm, Marcus Intalex, Aphrodite, Bailey, SUV, Rennie Pilgrem & Mc Chikaboo, Electrosoul System, Verse and many others. |

Lektronikumuz was born on 15th of June 1982, in Brasov (Kronstadt), the centre part of Romania. He studied in high school Survying Engineering, which is now his profession. He grew up with some TV-Shows about electronic lifestyle in Germany.
After watching, he decided to learn for himself about that life and the feeling of that music. After that experience he fell in love with the effect of red-stroboschope (a turntable component).
11 series of "Freak's Reunion Sessions" was his DJ debut, playing on digital components, with different kinds of music like techno, breakbeat and drum'n'bass. Step by step he discovered that the hobby of DJing can take away all his money, without knowing that he will never stop living this way.
In 2001 he started to organize a series parties, with his friend, Dj.Dariotto, called FREAKS REUNION SESSIONS.
In 2003 he decided to create his own team for making promotional techno events under the name THE DJs TECHNO CONFERENCE, which was basically driven by his best friend, DJ.Bela.
In 2005, he added to the label SKILLS RECORDS the best four members, djs and producers, from the techno scene of Romania Horace Dan D., dj. A.L.C.A., dj. Filipash, dj. Sebo and Mihai Popoviciu. His influences are based on his favourite djs, of techno, Jeff Mills, Deetron, Leandro Gamez, Mhonolink, Oxia, Samuel L Session, Mark Williams, Umek, Marco Carola, Gaetano Parisio, Ben Sims, Richie Hawtin, Marco Lenzi, Patrik Skoog, Oliver Ho, The Advent, Marco Bailey, Sven Vath, Henrik B., Adam Beyer, Laurent Garnier, Thomas Krome, Dave Clarke, and Chris Liebing. In 2006 he recorded a set dedicated for the "10 years Anniversary of THE BELLS", one of the most played song by the techno DJ's of the world; a Jeff Mills production, the "ANALOGIC SOUNDS DVD"

“As the dubstep scene become even harder to break into with the dominance of the big league DJ¹s only pushing their own material, here East European dub slinger Alien Pimp and his Dubkraft imprint release two dark and eerie gems ready to challenge the like of Tempa, Tectonic and Planet Mu.
Seek out the new breed and purchase.” Mark Gurney - ATM Magazine/ 2nd Drop Records
“The Bucharest, Romania-based DubKraft is a tribute to how international dubstep is getting.
The artists here are British, but Alien Pimp aka label boss Silviu adds a chunky, dark dancefloor punch to ‘Dungeon Master’.
The real gem, though is ‘Whoppa’ with what sounds like some electric monkeys chattering and a superbly rolling and skipping old-school 2-step vibe.
” Mixmag (forthcoming July issue) – Joe Muggs
“Dungeon Master is the perfect crossover of trip hop blunted vibez and heavy weight bass.
Ideal for bass meditation! Whoppa is a bit too crazy for my personnal tastes…” BunZer0 - SubFM
“Dungeon Master (Alien Pimp Remix) is quite a minimal, eerie and scary tune that you could easily find in a horror film.
The sub carries you sliding to a very low frequency. This track reminds me of watching the x-files.
A nice simple drum structure which sounds like it's been recorded live. Whoppa is a very dark track with random voices and sounds here and there. The bass and drum beat doesn't stop switching up from start to finish. I can see this track converting drum and bass heads into the Dubstep sound.” Deapoh – Bare Dubs Records |

...in the summer 1992, me and my good friend, Bogdan, we have discovered a new sound called Techno and House.
This happend because of some "Techno Trax, Acid House, This is House" compilations brought to us from Austria by a friend. The impact of this new sound was so intens and fascinanting that every where we went and to any party we used to play tracks from artists like: Armando, Phuture, Westbam, Moby, Altern8, The Prodigy, The Future Sound of London, Underground Resistance, Blake Baxter, Terrence Parker, Kevin Sounderson, Derrick May, Juan Atkins a.m.o.. And this was just the begining.
A turning point in our musical evolution was in 1995 the "Places" LP signed by a great artist Joey Beltram at Tresor Rec. From that days the crispy sound of JB techno will fallow to dominate the hole cultural universe of the two young guys.
Techno has begun to be the driving force of Morris's artistic development. Techno was so obssessive to us that we had became to consider it "The puriest art form". And the truth was not so far. Almost everywhere around us could find something techno and techno was in everything. That was the philosopy.
After a few years we find another magic side of electronic dance music and that because of Mr. Timewriter (Jean F Cochois) who succeed to push in to our minds somthing new, a new love, a love for the deep house. "Letters from the Jesters" . Briliant. (...the story will continue)

Real name FAUR Nicolae Alin, since early days, I’ve been attracted by beats: I used to play along with my cousin some early forms of “manele” – he was doing vocals on a corkscrew, and my responsibility was to keep the rhythm by knocking on a table.
But I grew up… and I discovered Music during ’93-’94:
Das Modul, Dune, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, U96 (I was really disappointed when I found out that the big majority of them reprofiled on trance…).
In ’96 I found out there’s “something else”: I bought myself my first RAVE Base M.C. (it was volume 6 of the series).
That way, I started grabbing stuff that was not that commercial. In the meantime I discovered Viva TV, and I just loved Club Rotation and was trying to grab a grasp of Berlin House… But the most inspiring media info were the lines in TV Satelit, where Marusca used to say that “CRS is organizing at Cluj, on the Hoia hill, the first/second/third… edition of the open air festival…”
By the late 90’s my main concern was for me to decide which way to go: beying a raver or a trancer? :D But the decision came in 2001: in august I went to Sibiu for The Center Parade (my first event of the kind) and I met a lot of People, through a rather different method : we only met on the IRC, without ever meeting face 2 face, not even a photo sharing, but when we met it seemed we knew each other for a lifetime! During that same fall I went several times at Sibiu, taking part on a series of Friday night parties organized by Jay Bliss (aka WebJay), meeting People, having time to taste techno, d’n’b and stuff.
Initially, I turned back home wondering what the f*#k were they finding that interesting on that kind of “music”, but by the year’s end I got to realize that I can’t get enough of that either! So in ’02 I decided I wanna spin on that kind of music, seeing freaks all around me that feel at their ease and listen to what I like.
In ’03, I was among few of my pals qho got to tv-capture “the last” edition of Love Parade, through Viva TV. By the same time I got my first vinyl:
Drumcode 24,5 - Being and Becoming - Marco Carola & Adam Beyer remixes. Since there on, I continuously try to enlarge my collection, but the tux’s and the flying windows won’t really lease me time to search – but I don’t give up either! ;) As a result, I’ve got a couple of Reloop’s RP-6000 turn tables, and been spinning them as wild as possible on a Pioneer DJM-300 mixer.
Unofficial collaborations, logistics and moral support for a lot of artists & friends: Lektronikumuz, Dj Axx, Out-Tex, R-Tur, Dharana, Voy Larkin, and the list goes on…
Preferred artists: I can’t really say that the music I promote follows a certain pattern and I also can’t say I do have idols in the branch, but I enjoy Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Dj Rush, Westbam – actually, I do like to mix old & new ;)

Sipos Attila, better known as vyGO, was born in Brasov, Romania on 4th of october 1983.
He started to listen to electronic music in high school and going to every club event in his town, he started loving this music.
After he went to university he kept the contact with his high school friends and mixed at several parties organized by his friends. He took part as organizer and also as DJ at the series of parties called "DubWorks" and "experiment" having breakbeat and drumandbass guests DJs from Brasov and around Romania such as Nemo, Leizaboy, Bully, DualTRX, Rapala, Grand.
One day, at an underground party in Brasov Fortress he "met" the concept of visuals. Feeling the need to complete the music from the parties with something "for the eye" he decided to make visuals. Gaining experience in this domain, somebody recommended him for the Arigato booking agency and he was invited for in Fashion Club Brasov to make visuals for DJ Naga & Beta and DJ Palotai. Two weeks have passed and so, in may 2006 he became resident VJ in Theatre Club - Brasov. Officially doing visuals in Theatre, he didn't give up music and DJing and he continued mixing at afterhours.
From the summer of 2006 he was mixing in Opium Caffe at the thursday night parties. Friday and saturday used to make a little warm-up till midnight for the people present in Opium and then he continued the night with visuals in Theatre. This year he got nominated at "Best VJ" cathegory at "nights.ro Awards" and he got the 4th place.
In june 2006 at "MTV DJ Awards" he became 2nd in the same cathegory. During his residency in Theatre he made visuals for DJs like Hybrid, Blank & Jones, Michel de Hey, Axwell, Dr.Kucho, Tommy Serano, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Lemon 8 and many more. Currently he's working for several clubs and bars in Brasov city.
